So you may have already heard (or maybe not), but Apple unveiled something new, something they claim to be “revolutionary” during their WWDC event. They introduced a gadget that seamlessly merges digital content with the physical world around us. It’s a headset that allows users to stay connected to the real world.

It’s not like Meta’s VR

Let’s make it clear that Apple’s Vision Pro is not like Meta’s VR, not even close. While Meta’s VR includes two joysticks with the headset, Apple’s Vision Pro is simply a gesture-controlled headset.

This means that by looking at a particular app, the Vision Pro can recognize your intention to open that specific application.

Additionally, Meta’s VR has a charging dock and an integrated battery within the headset itself, whereas Apple’s Vision Pro has a detachable battery. Users are expected to slide this battery into their pocket while wearing the headset.
