A couple of years ago smartphones weren’t capable of running heavy games due to hardware reasons. Nowadays, with phones such as the iPhone 13 and 14 Pro, there is little you can’t do. Its CPUs and GPUs are now so sophisticated and efficient that playing heavy games such as Call of Duty, Asphalt9, and the like are now child’s play for these devices.

You now can play a dense graphic game, switch over to Netflix watch movies in 4K, go back to your WhatsApp to respond to the messages you’ve received, and take several pictures of your cat and the phone’s temperature will still not go up.

Warzone will soon be available for iPhone and iPad

So it was just a matter of time before we got the announcement that Call of Duty: Warzone (that Collon after Duty needs to be there, so don’t get confused) will be available for the iPhone and iPad in just a couple of months.

We already got a sneak peek at Apple’s gaming event, but it wasn’t official yet. Now, a week later, playing Call of Duty: Warzone on the iPad and iPhone will be a reality.

It’s been a long time coming, but Activision (one of the biggest video game publishers based in California) has already declared that it’s working towards developing “AAA mobile experience games” for fervent players and enthusiasts who are a lot on the go. A year later and we start experiencing the hard work they have put in.

It’s not just about playing on the go

But this new Call of Duty: Warzone on the iPhone is not just about playing on the go. It’s more than that. It’s about socializing with friends and people online through various social features that they will bring into the game. Such as “weapon inventories, loadouts, and even the Battle Pass across platforms”.
